The Africa Healthcare Summit 2018 – Verve Management

Planning an international conference takes time, commitment and service providers per excellence, so when Verve Management our Dubai based client needed to host the 1st Annual Africa Healthcare Summit in Nairobi, they knew they needed local expertise they could trust to deliver an event to their standards. The Summit brought together Healthcare experts from Sub-Saharan Africa to Villa Rosa Kempinski, to share best practices and new technology in healthcare. Onyx Sound & Lights provided audio-visual solutions as well as stage design for the summit.

The stage design was incorporated to suit the AV solution we proposed. The 7×2.5m stage was complete with a made-to- fit backdrop. The backdrop was customised to fit the daylight back projection screen that we provided as part of the conference solution. Since the conference was an interactive mix of both presentations and panel discussions, we provided the back projection to ensure that there would be no interference of front projection to the speakers and audience. The back projection screen was made-to fit as well. The projection was switched between presentations and speaker bios through our HD switchers and mimicked the same on screens across the room with our signal splitters creating a comfortable view for all audiences.

For the audio, we provided the conference with sound solution that ensured that the speakers, panelists and audience were able to engage and be interactive. This included a top of the range sound system of speakers, mixer and pre-amplification microphones. To provide flexibility to the speakers, we provided a wireless lapel microphone to the session moderators and cordless microphones for the presenters, panelists and the audience for the question and answer (Q&A) session.
