Romance In the Air- Ken & Murugi

For this modern, fun loving couple, their wedding was meant to be a celebration for all. For all their spunk & excitement, they choose a simple elegant theme that conveyed the romance of the day.

Onyx took made the journey to aisle with this couple right from the Ruracio, Itaara and wedding day. For the first two traditional functions, we rose to the occasion and provided entertainment not only for their immediate friends & family but the ‘elders’ as well. When hosting traditional functions its important to remember the essence of the day and have a selection of music that not only entertains, but captures the essence of the day in all of its intention.
For the wedding, we provided both Sound & Lights for the day. Then music was a reflection of the couple and their family & friends, from the African classic jazz tunes to modern afro soul & pop and traditional vibes, we ensured that we had everyone on their feet for the celebration that it was.

The wedding was timed as an afternoon-evening affair which is why the lighting played a critical role in setting the mood and ambiance. To capture the aesthetic, we used fairy lights, LED uplighters and paper lanterns to color the celebration. The music also played a transitionary role from the reception to the evening party which was a party like no other.
